Arlen Konopaki is a New York City based actor, comedian and improvisor. He is a graduate of the BFA Acting Program at the University of Alberta. He is the former Associate Artistic Director of Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta.
He has been improvising for 11 years with various companies around the world. Arlen is one half of the highly acclaimed comedy duo Scratch. Scratch has gone on multiple tours all over Canada and Europe, and to the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals in Australia and to Auckland for the New Zealand Comedy Festival. In 2010, Scratch received a Canadian Comedy Award Nomination for Best Improv Troupe.
Selected stage credits include: A Watched Pot Never Boyles (NextFest, the Edmonton Fringe and Regina’s Globe Theatre as part of their Sandbox Series), Romeo & Juliet (Free Will Players), A MidSummer Night’s Dream (Theatre Prospero) and Candida (Studio Theatre). Arlen can be heard in a variety of animated works including Deltora Quest (Chinook Animation) and Dragon Age II (BioWare).
