Arlen Konopaki is a Los Angeles based filmmaker and cinematographer.
His work has been featured at festivals around the world, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Stanley Film Festival, New York Television Festival, Woodstock Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival and more.
Arlen's work has been featured on IFC.com, Splitsider, Complex, the Huffington Post, Bleacher Report and BuzzFeed. He has written digital content for Conde Nast Entertainment and has worked as a video producer/director and DP for GQ Magazine and Major League Baseball (MLB).
In collaboration with OBB Pictures, he has directed work for the NBA and Mountain Dew, WinView Games (featuring Blake Griffin) and an animated series based on Marilyn Monroe, released by DHX and featured on Marilyn Monroe's official website.
As a cinematographer Arlen has filmed content for Red Bull, Canon, Above Average, The Kicker, Barnes & Noble, FreshPet, Cole Haan, GQ, MLB, Monster.com, Vox and more. He has shot dozens of short films, which have screened around the world. He has filmed several web-series and the pilot for Rainbow Ruthie, which was recently featured at IFP Week.
Arlen is a Canadian Comedy Award recipient for his short film work and has been nominated three additional times for his live performances and short films. A graduate of the BFA Acting Program at the University of Alberta, Arlen also holds a MFA in Film Directing and Cinematography from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
